Techelix is looking for a driven and results-oriented Upwork Business Development Specialist with 2–5 years of experience in selling software and digital services through Upwork or similar freelancing platforms.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building strong client relationships, closing deals, and contributing to the company’s revenue growth. You will work closely with the marketing, technical, and leadership teams to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new B2B clients through outbound and inbound sales channels
- Understand client business needs and propose suitable software and digital solutions
- Conduct sales calls, virtual meetings, demos, and presentations with potential clients
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and contracts in coordination with internal teams
- Attend regular sales stand-ups initiated by leads/managers
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and deal progress in CRM tools
- Nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and upsells
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to align sales strategies with offerings
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
- Ability to achieve a monthly target of $5k-$7k
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 2–5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management (Upwork)
- Experience selling tech services, software solutions, SaaS, or digital products is highly preferred. Candidates should possess sufficient technical knowledge to effectively propose solutions for UI/UX, Website, app development and branding projects.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into business value for clients
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-growing environment
- Research and identify potential prospects and business opportunities across B2B & B2C platforms like Upwork as well as within internal brand networks.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (preferred)
